Delhi, 25th November, 2016: Fujifilm India announced that it has successfully installed and inaugurated India’s first ever Eastcom VLF CtCP plate setter machine at MAA Reprographics in Delhi. The company has installed the Potevio-Eastcom DX-1700U CtCP system online with a Heights processor.

The state-of-the-art Eastcom VLF CtCP plate setter system brings simplicity and quality to the demands of VLF CtCP segment. It also increases throughput in this very large format – thereby raising the productivity of the entire operation and reducing overall print cost.

Some of the other benefits of the Eastcom VLF CtCP plate setter machine are simple plate loading, high resolution – 2400dpi, accurate registration system, reliable laser, and stability.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. S M Ramprasad, AVP, Graphic Arts Division, Fujifilm India Pvt. Ltd.,  said “The opportunity in the Indian print industry is ample and the technology that Fujifilm has to offer across the pre-press as well as the digital printing segment are in tandem with the current requirements of the industry: environment-friendly and robust. The Eastcom VLF CtCP plate setter system adds on to our extensive portfolio of offset solutions giving us competitive advantage by increasing quality and reducing the overall print cost.”

Mr. Masoom Kathuria from MAA Reprographics said, “I started my first pre-press unit, AM Graphics, in April 2011 with FFEI Violet CtP Machine. We’ve had a very successful experience in terms of quality and service support. With the industry moving towards CtCP technology, we decide to expand our service range and established our second unit MAA Reprographics. Banking on our successful experience with Fujifilm, we decided to invest in the Eastcom VLF CtCP online plate setter system. This will enable us to cater to a larger market segment and enhance our capabilities in addressing customer requirements. We are excited to see the response as it has increased our turnaround time and reduced our operating cost.”
