Fujifilm showcases its latest products and innovations at CEIF 2016

Mumbai, January 07, 2016: Fujifilm India Private Limited, today, showcased its latest products and photography concepts at the annual Consumer Electronic Imaging Fair (CEIF) - world’s 3rd biggest photography fair organized every year by the All India Photographic Trade & Industry Association. The exhibition is being organized at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai from 7th January to the 10th January 2016. As part of the event, Fujifilm will be displaying its latest products ranging from cameras, camera equipment, printers and a new concept called- Wonder Photo Shop.

In the image capturing category, the company has displayed the Instax range of instant photo system including the Instax wide specially designed for the wedding segment along with the X-Series range of digital cameras. A special section has been created for professional photographers to showcase the features of the Fujifilm X series which combines traditional styling with cutting edge innovative technology. Going strong with the launch of the Instax series last year, Fujifilm is targeting Rs.60 crores in revenue from the instant camera range alone for this fiscal and looking forward to achieve Rs.120 crores in the next fiscal.

Fujifilm has also come out with the concept of Wonder Photo Shop for the first time in India to inspire innovative photo printing. It has been conceptualized as a new way of enjoying photographs in the smartphone era. The Wonder Photo Shop is set up as a one-stop style boutique for a range of photo imaging products and services including wonder print station, theme based accessories, scrapbook, photo albums, frames etc. as well as the latest Fujifilm camera range and camera equipment.

Commenting on participation in CEIF 2016, Mr. Yasunobu Nishiyama, Managing Director, Fujifilm India Pvt. Ltd. said, “Fujifilm has always believed in innovation and CEIF is one of the platforms to showcase our world class products and concepts. With our new concept, the Wonder Photo Shop, we aim to change the way photography will be enjoyed in the smartphone era. We are also confident of our Instax range of cameras and expect it to gain the same amount of acceptance here in India as it has the world over.”

Last year as part of its India strategy, Fujifilm introduced its state-of-the-art instant photo system – the Instax series including the instax mini series ideal for daily use and the instax wide series which is a perfect companion for group photos particularly wedding photography. Instant Print comes out of the camera which develops gradually and gets sharpened in few minutes.

Consumer Electronic Imaging Fair (CEIF) formally known as Photo Fair is the world’s 3rd biggest photography fair organized every year by the All India Photographic Trade & Industry Association every year alternating between in two popular locations Mumbai and New Delhi.  This time the fair will be from 7th January to the 10th January 2016 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, India.
